Mid-July Walk

July is not noted for wildflowers, but there are still some blooming.
Let's take a walk and see.

Buttercups

Douglas's Spirea

Ocean Spray

Wild Mint

Queen Anne's Lace

Thistles

The American Goldfinches are looking over the thistles.

When the thistles go to seed it is time for them to raise their families.

Butter and Eggs (Linaria Vulgarus)

Flax

Red-stemmed Ceanothus

Mullein

Blackberries

Teasle

Something for everyone to enjoy I think!

So pretty! Love! Just got back from a trip to Maryland, thru West Virginia and Northern Virginia... what a lovely time it was, seeing all the flowers and butterflies! Of course, we were in a car most of the time... but it was nice to see...Hugs!
