This might well be the final time I see a Wilson's Warbler in 2022.

I got a nice gift as it posed for me.

Taking a final bow.

Such a bright yellow bird.

Safe journey to you.

I'll make due with these little guys as my winter guests.

A small group of inquisitive Bushtits.
Female with light eyes.

And a Chickadee hanging out with them.

Little puff ball.

September is the end of flycatcher activity here.

I lucked out with three recent good sightings.
This might be a Willow Flycatcher.

The crown on the head says maybe this is a Western Wood Pewee.

And I'll go with Willow Flycatcher for this series.

The tipped head is charming.

Safe journey little one!

Best Warbler sighting this month.
A Black-throated Gray Warbler!
Do you see it?

Here it is!

The distinctive black throat and yellow dots in front of the eyes.

I was very lucky as it stayed in place.

Nature continues to gift me and all those who take the time to slow down and LOOK!

Sunday's Hummers

A nice collection of females this week.
I did see two males at the same time, but no photos of the encounter.

A female and an immature male.

Note the glowing throat.

Happy Sunday everyone!
