Here's new behavior for my Acorn Woodpecker.

He's drinking nectar from a hummingbird feeder.

A young American Robin.

I really like the photo of the hummingbird with the 'artistic" swirl of the blackberry blooms and green berries. Could make a lovely needlework of some type, couldn't it?
I never knew woodpeckers liked hummingbird nectar. Bet that long tongue came in very useful!

Such a great patriotic header, Beth! Even though I have a ton of red, white, and blue smalls--I haven't stitched a single one of these!
