Woodpeckers Part Two

Design - "A Gift for You" (kit)
Designer - Bent Creek
Fabric - 32 count unknown blue-gray linen
Fibers - DMC & WDW - 2 strands over 2 threads
Started - 5 January 2015
Completed - 11 January 2015

Continuing on with the woodpeckers...

The male Acorn comes by regularly, though I do see a female once in a while.

I'm hoping they continue to hang around and nest nearby.

And I have lots of Flicker action.

It's not usual to see five birds in the morning.
This is a female.

Sunday's Hummers

A fair amount of hummingbird activity this week.

It is supposed to be very cold Sunday night through Tuesday night...into the 20's and 'teens.

I'll make sure the birds have access to nectar that is not frozen.

As I mentioned earlier here is the Rose Guardian.

This is another popular perch.

Yes, I do have a male Anna's

We hope you have a good weekend.

Saturday's Critters

The critter report is brief this week.

There is a buck that shows up once in a while.

There's also a couple of does which you can see behind him.

And a couple of fawns.

This is a guy, the other is a female.

Very few bunnies and even fewer chipmunks.

Here's another older stitch that I don't think I've ever featured.  Looking at it now it is apparent to me that the poor snowman has lost his nose.  If you find it, please let me know!

I see four or more Flickers every morning.

Here are two

Male Acorn

Female Acorn

Two Acorns and a Hairy Woodpecker

Can you see all three birds?
