A Warm Wednesday Walk

It's supposed to reach the upper 80's today, so I thought we should walk in the cool of the morning.

Someone has decided the hazelnuts are ripe and ready to eat.

Berries of the False Solomon's Seal

Rosehips

Oak Galls

Red Current berries

Snowberries

Blackberries

Red Osier Dogwood fruit

I wonder if the Cedar Waxwings will flock in to eat this when it ripe.

Tri-colored fruit

More Red Osier Dogwood fruit

Blackberries

Cascara berries

Boy--this posted really EARLY!! I know we have berries blooming out here, but it is so hot, not many birds are around... Wonder if it is the same in natural areas, parks and so on? I hope you get some pictures of birds eating some of these berries... Hugs!
