A Further Finish and Fledgling

Design - "A Bit of July" F64
Designer - Lizzie Kate
FAbric - 28 count Light Mocha Cashel
Fibers - GAST, WDW, and DMC - 2 strands over 2 threads
Started - 5 July 2016
Completed - 6 July 2016

Are you impressed with all these finishes?  I am cranking them out this month!

On Friday a flock of 12 Bushtits came by the backyard.

They chatter to one another as they flit about.

They are fans of my suet feeders.

And they are pretty little birds too.

Not so pretty, these two newly fledged Scrub Jays.

The adult had just flown off and left them to their own devises.

It made for a confusing situation.

Until one of the birds found...something!

"Darn it - I missed out!"

Another nice finish! What cute birds those Bushtits are!! Their chubby little faces are adorable! It is very hot here, so the birds haven't been around much... but should be cooling down starting tomorrow. You know, even the little Scrub Jays are cute and have character! Hugs!

We've had a couple of fledglings in our yard also. One of them was getting in the way when I was watering our lawn and was quite unhappy with me. He kept chirping at Hubby and me and obviously calling for a parent. We did see the male robin going to the fledgling later in the evening. Thanks for all the pretty pictures.
