Time for a Garden Grumble!

These plants may appear to be "free", but in fact, due to continued interest from deer, they spend their days and nights behind bars - in a wire cage. That is just one of the many joys of gardening in the country!
Updated Mon 06/29 - over the weekend a mystery! The pot on the left had a trailing sweet potato vine - Saturday it was pulled out of the pot and 1/2 the leave were eaten - despite a cage! Then I noticed the cage was off the edge of the patio - a bunny crawled under it from the grass and ate my vine!

By Her Hand

This is a La-D-Da piece called "By Her Hand". I saw it finished and framed at Friendship Crossing in Corvallis, Oregon. I loved the colors and wanted to stitch it. It is one of those pieces where the photograph on the chart does not do it justice. I stitched it on 36 count Goldfinch linen, and modified the date and "signature".

Another Rabbit - Hare Lines

Very cute "freebie" chart from Bent Creek. Stitched on 32 count white linen in just a couple of hours. My next posted project will be non-rabbit, I promise!

R is for Rabbit

This is the project I've been working on the last couple of weeks. A couple of years ago I stitched up "H is for Honey" by Prairie Schooler. At some point in time, I'd also like to start "P is for Pumpkin" - maybe this fall. My sister insists that I should stitch "seasonally", thus nothing fall-like in the month of June! So the pumpkin project will have to wait!
