I usually get bored become impatient while stitching an alphabet, mentally counting, "Okay we're at 'M' - half way done now - 13 more to go!" This however, was a fast and fun alphabet, circling around the chart. Notice the letter 'O' is a taupe button.

Up high and far away...

I finally spied my first Cedar Waxwing of the year.

I've been hearing them, but not seeing them.

Usually they are in a flock, so a single bird is unusual.

More usual is a single female Flicker.

She struck several poses for me.

She's now got a pretty good portfolio of work!

And there maybe five, not sure about that.
