A Fine Orange Cat

Garden Grumbles and Cross Stitch Fumbles September 2015 Blog Header

Just four cross stitch finishes in the blog header this month.
They are: Birds of a Feather, "Curious as a Cat"; Ewe & Eye and Friends, "Primitive Cat"; and Homespun Elegance, "Tabby Cat"; Heart in Hand, "Cat Sampler".

This month's header is a tribute to our beloved Tom-Cat aka Mr. Orange Pants.

We had to say goodbye to him on the last day of July.

I will have a longer post on the Nine Lives and Times of Thomas Louis Cat when I can do so without tearing up.

Perhaps it is suffice to say he was a Fine Orange Cat.

My heart goes out to you - I think we all know how much we love our furry babies and how hard it is to say good bye.

What a beautiful header in Tom Cat's honor. I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm a lover of cats in general but there is something extra special, magnificent, about a big orange cat. I'm sure you loved the heck out of him and I'm so sorry he's no longer with you. I've enjoyed seeing pictures of your cats over the years and look forward to hearing more about your sweet Tom Cat. Take care and hugs to you Beth.

I am so sorry to read this Beth. We lost 2 cats last year and it was one of the hardest things we had to do. Sending hugs and happy thoughts your way.

Oh, I'm so sad to read about the loss of your beautiful Tom-Cat, Beth--I'm sure you are still "seeing" him everywhere. What a handsome, curious kitty he was--I know how much joy he brought into your life...

Sending out hugs & sympathy. He was a beautiful cat. Doubtless he is now romping in his kitty heaven with the deer, the chipmunks, & many furry friends. 🌺

Beautiful header for Tom Cat. My best friend cat is a big orange cat too...Otto. Left behind when some one moved from an apartment. It is always very sad to loose a pet, but remembering them will help with the sadness. So here's to you Tom Cat !

I was so intrigued with the photo of the lovely orange cat in your sidebar, that I had to search up some older posts and read about him. He was truly gorgeous. Although a bit late, I express my sincere sympathy for your loss.
