Wednesday's Walk

It's a perfect day for a walk..or at least a doze in the morning sun!
Off we go.

Our native Iris tenax are going strong.

The blooms only last for a day, but are so plentiful.

The first Cow's Parsnip blossom.

Wet weather makes great mushrooms.

False Solomon's Seal

Menzies' Larkspur (Delphinium menziesii)

Camas shoots...

Camus in bloom.

Serviceberry

Around these parts, many folks pronounce it as "Sarvisberry". There is even have a Sarvis Berry Lane out past where I live.

A wood violet.

Nature's montage!

Wild strawberry

Our native Dogwood.

Lots of blooms this spring.

Our native Currant.

And back to my favorite - at least for this week - the Iris!

This is such a pretty walk. We are having a dreary, wet Wednesday.

I see nearly every one of those on my walks here. I have Solomon's Seal in my garden and that was a good reminder that I want to divide it as it is taking over!

Those native iris are certainly pretty. I have not seen the wild ones around here. Thanks for the lovely walk!
