Buttons and Birds...and Deer...and...

I promise, I'm still working away on "Free Bird"!  But I had to kit up "Button Button" - the colors are just too too fabulous!  I have an aunt who is an avid button collector - so maybe that's where this will end up.

This past weekend saw most of our usual suspects in action. 

Hummingbirds...

Female Goldfinches on our "Ali Baba" fountain.

Our "Large" quail family - large - both the physical size of the chicks and number of chicks - 14!

More deer...

Bunnies about everywhere!

This is one of our "Small" quail families - note how much smaller the chicks are - this family appears to have 6 babies. 

They strolled about the area Sunday morning...

Before finally scurrying off into the tall grass.
