Buttons and Birds...and Deer...and...

I promise, I'm still working away on "Free Bird"!  But I had to kit up "Button Button" - the colors are just too too fabulous!  I have an aunt who is an avid button collector - so maybe that's where this will end up.

This past weekend saw most of our usual suspects in action.

Hummingbirds...

Deer...

Female Goldfinches on our "Ali Baba" fountain.

Our "Large" quail family - large - both the physical size of the chicks and number of chicks - 14!

More deer...

Bunnies about everywhere!

This is one of our "Small" quail families - note how much smaller the chicks are - this family appears to have 6 babies.

They strolled about the area Sunday morning...

Before finally scurrying off into the tall grass.
