Wednesday after some special guest came by.
A small flock of 5-6 Bushtits.
As always is the case, I heard them, before I saw them.
This serves to show how small they are in comparison to the Junco on the right.
Most of the birds had dark eyes, and thus were males.
They have quite a long tail in proportion to their fat little bodies.
They are quite the acrobats - and can hang on most anything in order to feed.
I bought this feeder purposely to attract the smaller birds, and it is working quite well. The chickadees also use it.
I'm semi-convinced that the bird on the back-left is something different - the tail appears to have a bit of yellow.

I like that piece... the charm is cute! Looks like the bird on the left has a bit of yellow under it's wing too! Hope you see it again, more clearly! I am glad the Bushtits came for you again! Hugs!
Tender Heart. Pretty Heart. And cute, little birds.
What delightful visitors!
Such wonderful little visitors. Tell them they are very welcome to visit my feeder.
A very pretty heart, Beth! And such sweet birds. I've notice a big drop in our bird visitors this year--not sure if it is because it has been such a snowless, warm winter here or what. Very strange--I really miss the cardinals!
