More Stitching and Birding

Another blast from the past!

Some cool birds lately...

I think this is a Western Wood Pewee.

Flycatchers are hard to ID if they do not 'talk'.

This one posed for some really good looks.

Left...

...and right.

A rather handsome bird in my estimation. 

I also got good looks at a female Western Tanager.
In the front of the house...

...and munching on Cascara berries in the backyard.

There's nothing like native plants / shrubs / trees to bring in birds.

She worked away for a good 10 minutes or so.

Never said a word, but it was hard to miss her.

She also posed very nicely.

A good birding day.
