I rarely see American Goldfinches in the winter.

The usually leave by the end of October and do not show up again until mid-
April.

They're back!

At least one early 'scout' is.
A Band-tailed Pigeon.

The Steller's Jays were not happy yo see the pigeon.

They squawked and yelled as though it were a hawk.

It fact they chased it way!  Way to go Steller's!

They certainly are lovely birds on a blue sky day.

And they are great look outs - always watching.

Sunday's Hummer

Anna's celebration

All my photos today are of this bird.

An immature male I think.

Quite a red throat, but not a red head.

Or is it a female? Sometimes they have a bit of throat color.

It's just confusing, that's what it is.

Happy Sunday!

Saturday's Critters

Here we go!

A Gray Squirrel

There are at least three of them.

Boy can they climb like nobody's business.

Crazy!

And off it goes!

Bunny!

Golden-crowned Sparrow and bunny.

Look at that face!

Another bird photo-bomb!

The male of the set of twins.

Mama was giving him some extra attention.

Deer do groom one another.

See?

She's washing his face as all good mothers are want to do.
