Bright Yellow

Design - "Tiny Chick"
Chart - "Soft Boiled"
Design - The Cricket Collection
Fibers - DMC - 2 strands over 2 threads
Fabric - Bright yellow linen scrap
Started - 24 March 2013
Completed - 26 March 2013

Here's an Easterish stitch of a little bird - a yellow baby chick.

And now a yellow bird or two!

On the left a Lesser Goldfinch, on the right a male American Goldfinch.
And above a couple of House Finches.

Good comparison of the Lesser and American Finches.

It's always great to have the American Goldfinches return.

That said, they are some of the messiest eaters going!

What is Ajax watching?

A clue is the poop by her tail.

Can you see it?

Head popped up. It's a female turkey.
She's been hanging out the past two or three days.

Someone else is watching.

All the birds flew off when it flew in.

A Cooper's Hawk.
