The Bird Babies continue to fledge and provide me with lots of entertainment!

Wednesday morning my Raven family made their first appearance.
CAn you figure out which one is Baby Bird?

Yep, the one with it's mouth wide open!

Feed me!

This I think is a form of submissive behavior, as the adult taps the baby's head to show him who is in charge.

Do you understand youngster?

All three birds were very talkative - so this was a noisy production.

Lesson learned...

Now you get to eat!

That same morning a Black-capped Chickadee Big Baby (on the left) continued to beg for handouts.

At this point the parent bird was feeding the youngster suet.

Yummy!

Your Buzz finish looks great, Beth. Did you use the called for thread? Good looking bird families!

Well, the birds have taught me a lesson, I should have tapped my kids on the head more often.
