Wednesday's Wintery Walk

Let's take a walk back in time to Thursday, February 22nd.

We woke up to a Winter Wonderland.

Somewhere between 3"-4" of heavy, wet snow.

There is something mesmerizing about falling snow.

I happily sat outside for a while watching snowflakes fall.

Snow makes art out of most anything.

Early on the light was a blue-gray.

Then it became a steel-gray.

And quiet - the world is quiet when it snows.

Here's a good look at the depth of the snowfall.

I did not have much action at the feeders...

...but the California Quail left their mark.

It is pretty, isn't it? I love the quiet that comes with the snow.

Oh how pretty are each of your photos Beth. I have not seen snow in a long, long time and I miss it. RJ@stitchingfriendsforever

It is pretty but I am getting tired of winter. I would have loved it in November or December, even January. But March(almost) UG!

How beautiful! I’m ready for winter to be over, but it’s truly a beautiful time. And those quail tracks-so cute!
