A Cat Start

I still have a couple of unfinished cat stitches from last September. So yes, I decided to start another cat stitch.  That's how I roll!

Padma is all for it.

I've had some great birding the past couple of weeks.

My Willow Flycatcher came by again.

He'll soon be headed south.

The Cedar Waxwings will be around for a while yet.

There are all kinds of berries and ripe fruit for them to eat now.
The bird on the bottom is munching on something.

This is a juvenile bird.

A couple of mature birds.

They talk among themselves almost constantly.
The bird on the upper branch is whistle-talking.

Love their quizzical looks.

Last year I had a very large flock of 50 birds or more.  So far, 15 is the most I've seen this year.

Looks like a cute new start, Beth--have never seen that design before. I'm glad it has the stamp of approval from Padma :)

Sweet new start. Padma looks super suspicion of being used as justification :D

That cat is such a cute design! have fun with it. I love seeing the cedar waxwings. My pyracantha is not any where near ripe and it always attracts birds. I'm not sure they would like it.
