Farmers' Market Visit

On a wonderfully sunny May day, the Farmers' Market was bustling!

These musicians noted that they were "raising money to travel to foreign lands like Ire-land and Scot-land, but so far we have enough money to just travel to Port-land!" Very amusing!

I like how the Farmers' Market vendors work to educate their consumers. I appreciate any and all cooking tips.

The market had lots of new potatoes...

...and the first strawberries of the season.

As usual the floral displays were lovely.

Iris have joined the Floral Parade.

Also new to the market - zucchini...

...garlic scapes...

...and fresh green garlic.

Besides all the food, there was lots of great music to enjoy.
I hope you are having an enjoyable weekend.

We have nothing as lovely as your market, we have once a month a farmers market, great for plants and produce but not much veg. Each Monday we have a local market but it is full of cheap clothes.
