Saturday at the Market

It seems like whenever I blog about our Farmers' Market, I blog about FOOD!

And yes, there was plenty of fresh produce at the Market...

But I was taken with the flowers...

The City of Eugene has finally put out hanging baskets in the downtown area.
I thought these two baskets made an especially bold statement!

And l loved this soft country-charm bouquet.
It looks like something Anne of Green Gables would have picked in her garden.

These peonies were stop-and-stare bold!

We also walked over the the larger Saturday Market to buy some lavender scented soap...

Tie-dye can be reflective of a bouquet too!

And though not a Scrabble player (I can't spell worth a hoot), I thought this clock was incredibly clever!

I just love this time of year and going to the markets for fresh, local produce. Great pics!

This has to be the best time of year for produce. I live in an area where there are farmer's markets and produce stands everywhere you look. I wish the season wasn't so short!
