It is possible to teach an older dog a new trick or two - I got the snaps to snap on - Wahoo!
Now for the big birds of "Birds Big and Small".
We often have a Red-tailed Hawk perched on a tree branch.
It is unusual to have two in the same tree...
...and almost unheard of to have two on the same branch!
If it is pair, then the female is the larger of the two.
That's how it works for most raptors!

Congratulations on your snaps - it is a very cute design. You gotta believe that it is a pair of hawks scoping out their new neighborhood. Is this the right place to raise a family??
