Wow - I'd not have any problem with aphids if I had this girl in my garden!
And speaking of gardening...

How can you not be crazy for coleus?
Last year was a banner year for me growing coleus.
This year I've had challenges...

First off I think the weather was too cold in May / early June and the plants sat and sulked then shrivelled and died - over-watering?
When I replaced them, things looked good until Doris Deer came along.
She thought it was an "All You Can Eat Coleus Buffet".
So I grumbled (cursed?) and sighed and bought plants for the 3rd time.

Now they are safe behind a fence and happier with less water and warmer temperatures.

I'm glad that you were able to replant and that the coleus are doing better. I love them, too, and I have them in containers all around the house. I started some from seed, and they are still fairly small, so what I learned is that I need to start my flower seeds much earlier next year, but I fertilize them every week and they are growing fast! The leaf colors of the ones you have are just gorgeous!

I have some of those around my yard. From a previous person, of course. Now I have to go outside and appreciate them.

I wish I had coleus, but I haven't planted any this year. I love all the new colors they've come out with. Thanks for sharing at the Tuesday Garden Party!
