The Weird and the Cute

Here's the weird - these two lizards bask on the sidewalk daily.

I think this might be a Sagebrush Lizard.

This is a Western Fence Lizard.

And now for the cute.  This is Mama...

...and this is Baby.

Pretty cute, am I right?

Eating grass...

...and nursing.

Once again, cute, right?

I love watching the fawns each year. They definitely are cute. We have seen 'bigger' lizards around here in addition to the tiny ones. Enjoy your Saturday, Beth!

Very cute!!! Just like last year we have a nursing doe visiting the bird feeder daily. Eating up what the birds left and some extra corn from the critter crunch. Assuming it's the same doe from last year she keeps her fawn out of our sight (again).

Those lizards certainly fit the category of weird! I really have lost my taste for deer when I see how they are eating half of our neighborhood's plants. They are really destructive in this part of the world. I have seen so many high fences going up. We are considering something to stop them.

Cute as can be, I love the spotted coat. Talking of cute, we have dozens of tiny weeny frogs emerging from our pond, they are about the size of your little finger nail.
