Friday is Here

Design - "Bee Strong" (kit)
Designer - Bent Creek
Fabric -18 count Wichlet Lambwool linen
Fibers - DMC
Started - 21 September 2003
Completed - 20 October 2003

An Orange-crowned Warbler is able to cling upside down and munch on suet.
This helps my suet last a bit longer as the Starling have a tough time clinging.

As part of this weird birding year, I still have Pine Siskins.  They've always been a winter bird before.

There's a small flock of Cedar Waxwings down by our largest creek.

I'd guess 6-8 birds darting in and out of the ash and willows.

It's also good habitat for Warblers.  I saw a Tennessee Warbler and several Orange-crowned Warblers.

Love your featured bee/beehive stitch, Beth! Everything looks so green and lush in your neck of the woods.

Those waxwings! The color on those birds that you've captured in your photos is beautiful! Thank you for sharing that.

The colors on the cedar waxwing are so soft and pretty. I do love the beehive stitch. Bees and hives seem to be very popular in the stitching world!
