February Finish

Design - "February" - "Joyful Journal"
Designer - Heart in Hand
Fabric- 30 count WDW Confederate Gray
Fibers - GAST, WDW, & Classic Colorworks - 2 strands over 2 threads
Started - 4 February 2018
Completed - 7 February 2018

As you can see, this stitched up pretty quickly.

The Yellow-rumped Warbler chatters up a storm and lets me know when he is out of bark butter.  I rush to put more out - anything to keep this lovely little bird around for a few more days.

But that does not mean that I neglect 'regulars' like the California Quail.

Recently there was a fairly large group in the backyard.

At a glance there were far more males than females.

Everyone with a dark head is a male.

Right now they're still Best Buddies...

...but come spring...that will change.

Your finish is so cute! And the quail -- love when they are all puffed up like that!

Oh, my--those quail are so puffy! Just adorable. Love your pretty heart, too, Beth--I think this was the first year in a long time that I did no stitching for Valentine's Day.
