Friday Flashback

Design - "Snowbird"
Designer - Ewe & Eye & Friends
Fabric - 32 count River Willow
Started - 23 February 2010
Completed - 7 March 2010

A flashback stitch from eight years ago. The colors (and the fabric) are great and I especially like the rice stitch detail in the interior of the bird's wing (light green).

The stitch is old, the birds are current.

For a while I only had a few Pine Siskins, but now the group is back up to around 30 birds.

I continue to have a Red-breasted Nuthatch active at the peanut feeder most afternoons.

He is fun to watch and listen to "meep-meep!"

He has great technique and is able to pull out a peanut piece fairly quickly.

Ready for take-off!

A couple of Chestnut-back Chickadees are also 'regulars' at the peanut feeder.

What a cute design. I also see some satin stitches.

Well that is one sweet stitch Beth. I really like the detail of the specialty stitch. Love the fabric too. RJ
