Barely Any Bears in May? Not!

Here's a look at some of the critters who strolled by in May.

A raccoon.

A gray squirrel.

Several deer as per usual.

A brush bunny.

A bob-cat.

Barely any bears in May?  Not!  Bears were omnipresent this past month which helps to explain the raids on my bird feeders.

My dad commented that he'd had to regularly fill the water trough.

It looks as though it has become a Bear Watering Hole.

Here's one on yet another night.

Moving on...

This yearling came by in the afternoon.

Then headed off.

We have two youngsters.

And being youngsters...and siblings...

...they scuffle.

The month ended with another daylight appearance.

We have two cameras, so were able to get two views.

This is my favorite - love that big bear paw.

As long as those big bear paws do not hurt any of you, I agree. ;)

Wow! I hope they keep their distance and don't bother you or your bird feeders. Loved the baby bird pics in the post a couple back.

What great trail camera shots of the wildlife. I like the last one as well.

Whoa! Amazing trail cam pics.
I was excited to see a pileated woodpecker on the property a couple of weeks ago, a plethora of tiny baby toads and Rich killed a copperhead today... it is always amazing what you are sharing space with.

Yup--lots of bears! That last one seemed too close for comfort!
