Let's Go Outside!

While the weather has been cold, it has been sunny and clear.
So bundle up and let's see what there is to see.
A full contingent of mushrooms.

This small seasonal creek is running fierce and fast.

A study in contrasts - old Oak Galls and the new buds of future Oak leaves.

The Big Creek

Frost dusted leaves

Hazel catkins

This time of year it is easy enough to be up to enjoy a sunrise or a sunset.

Good morning!

The rosy pink light that greets a new day.

Smack dab in the middle of the day a rainbow arches in the sky.

The black and orange of a day as it disappears.

Good night one and all!

Good night!

What stunning photos! Your sunset is very striking. I have a tiny neglected garden and intend to look to your blog for inspiration this year.

Wonderful photos to show the cycle of the day! How funny to see the mushroom photo...I've just been reading my morning paper and there is an article on the profusion of mushrooms blooming due to the heavy December rains here in NorCal.

Beautiful sky photos - we had the most beautiful sky the other morning when I was driving to work. I still wonder at rainbows and their beauty.
