Forecast: Showers - Ark at the Ready

Update 2:45pm
Did I say showers?  How about lightening, thunder, and deluge?
It is pouring buckets, and all the 'scaredy cats' are at my feet.
At least the Ark is ready!

 Design - "Noah's Sampler"
Chart - Leisure Arts - "A Sampling of Tradition"
Designer - Kandace Thomas
Fabric - 28 count Platinum Cashel linen
Fibers - DMC - 2 strands over 2 threads
Started - 29 April 2012
Completed - 31 May 2012

I enjoyed stitching this.  I think my favorite part is the 'rainbow hill' upon which the Ark rests.  I had to chart the year 2012 as numbers were not included.  I also added my initials 'E' and 'C'.

Sunday my Mom, my sister, and I went on a plant nursery tour with the Avid Gardeners group.

We went to Xera Plants

and Rare Plant Research

and Ferguson's Fragrant Flowers.

I will post more details on each nursery later in the week.

Good morning, Beth! Your Ark looks wonderful and sturdy! ;-) We are in for rain all week as well - blech!

I enjoyed catching up on your last few posts, especially those of the various kinds of birds. The one photo of the bird with a cat hair fluff was too funny!

Love your June header!
