Yesterday was a cold, rainy day - far more like early April than mid-June.  The cats were most displeased with the weather, while I was confined to Pacing on the Front Porch.

So for this week's Tuesday Garden Party I'll share Front Porch Photos.  The Front Porch is north-facing and shaded.  As you can see it is protected from deer with a small wire fence and the strategic placement of chairs on the steps.
The Porch is 29 feet long by 7 feet wide.  I've loaded it with 176 container plants - Fuchsias, Begonias, Ferns, Hostas, and Coleus.  This is the long side of the porch.

This is the shorter side.

Even though it is shaded, the bees find the plants there.

Here are some of my Coleus.

And another of my bees.

Some of my dozens of Fuchsias.

Yet another bee.

I have Mosses and Baby's Tears.

Begonias...

and more Begonias.

A little bee skep.

Ferns and Hostas thrive on the Front Porch.

Even on a rainy day it is possible to Bee Happy!

I hope you and your garden are content today.

Lovely little stitches Beth. OH my goodness Beth! I thought watering my mom's plants when she goes on vacation was bad! Wow! You must water a long time every day! It all looks fabulous. I love the mosses and baby tears.

I like your garden ornament bee with the smiley face. It's interesting to see your house style with the porch and notice the differences between houses over here and houses in America.

I love so many containers together--you are a plant artist, the way you have combined them all with the delightful bees and other garden ornaments! I like it a lot.

I keep forgetting to mention how much I enjoy all the pictures of your cats in the sidebar and in your posts! We've got 3 at our house, too.

Gorgeous front porch! Looks like a fantastic place to hang out any time of day, rain or shine. Especially if there are lazy-lap-warmers handy like that pretty kitty you have there. Hehee...

Take care!

Fantastic finishes! Your porch must be so nice to sit and read, admire the view, look over the plants. Lovely photos!

Two very cute finishes! I love your chair defense system keeping the deer away! We sure need something like that--I went out tonight and noticed they had gobbled up every single pink geranium :(
