I like all the little motifs that make up this stitch...
the squirrels, the oak leaf, and...

the acorns.

For some reason, this year our oak trees are not dropping any acorns.  Nary a one!  So this photo is from last year - I can't help but worry about the squirrels!

Cute finish Beth.

About those acrons. Maybe the squirrels are scooping the acorns up as fast as they fall. :)

Really a nice piece. About the acorns...I am from the East coast originally...it is said that few acorns mean a mild winter. As it happened, my neighbors had the Oak tree which fed my front lawn every year with acorns...and it did indeed happen that when fewer fell, the winters were milder.

Such a cute finish!

I wonder why your acorns aren't falling to the group. Ours came down in droves. There are a lot of very fat squirrels around here!
