Almighty. It ought to be solemnized with Pomp and Parade, with Shews, Games, Sports, Guns, Bells, Bonfires and Illuminations from one End of this Continent to the other from this Time forward forever more."
Back in the day, my family, with its road-building and quarrying background, like to begin the 4th of July with an explosion from a stick of dynamite! While I don't think you should go overboard, I do encourage you to get out there and march in a parade or play a baseball game, and be sure and watch some pyrotechnic displays!
My garden is celebrating Independence Day in a swirl of red, white, and blue,
Red Gerbera Daisy
Red and White Begonias
Bluey Lavender
Red Nasturtiums
Red and white Fuchsia
Blue blue blue Salvia
Red Salvia
White Begonia
Blue Lobelia
