It's Going To Be A Scorcher!

Well, I've got a nice collection of new-to-me ladybug cross stitch patterns, including a freebie not pictured above.  So I think that my next project will probably be a bug.

I do like the ladybug motif - in my gardening life too it is a recurring theme.

Katy Adamson Fused Glass Ladybug

Metal Ladybug

Cast Iron Ladybug

Copper Ladybug Plant Stake (or is it a turtle?)

David Carruth ladybug

It is supposed to be a scorcher today.  It is already 76F at 10:00am.  I'm not sure that we had even three days in June with a high of 76!  Today is supposed to reach 95F and we are under a heat advisory.  This heat will be a shock to plants and people both.  I've already been outside and given everything a good watering, and filled out the fountain and birdbaths.

The cats say - take it easy!

Cute ladybug patterns and ladybugs! It's going to be about the same around here temperature wise. I think that the kitties have the right idea, although they should go somewhere cool - but it's a great day for just laying around.
