The smaller woodpeckers have been active in the front of the house.
This series features a female Downy Woodpecker.
She's small...
..and so is her bill in proportion to the size of her head.
They like to lurk in this acer waiting for the perfect opportunity to light on the suet feeder.
She's waiting!
