This and That

Completed - 7 August 2013
This was a piece I stitched while spending three months in England.

Once the Bushtits began to nests, they disappeared from the feeders.

Now that they've raised their families, they are returning to the feeders.

The same deal with the Chestnut-backed Chickadees.  They've been AWOL and have now returned.

The Downy Woodpeckers have never left!

I have a few Barns Swallows hanging about.

They enjoy flying in and out of the shop garage.

They are extremely talkative and aerobatic flyers.

Your patriotic stitch is darling. Love it! It is interesting to me that some birds tend to disappear while nesting/raising their families and then reappear at the feeders.
