Ode to some of the smaller birds.
It's hard to visually distinguish between a male House Finch and Purple Finch.
Their songs are very different, but this guy was not singing.
He's very bright and color saturated, so I think he's a Purple Finch.
We can enjoy either way.
The Chestnut-backed Chickadees are done breeding.
They're showing up at the feeders once again.
They spend more time at the feeder than the Black-capped do.
Good to see you again.
And here's a Black-capped Chickadee.
