A bright and shiny stitch and now for a bright and shiny bird.
I got a brief look at my adult male Anna's Hummingbird on Friday.
He even stuck out his tongue for me.
Here his head looks black...
...turn and it is shiny and fuchsia!

My daughter is busy making wool hummingbirds for her show. She is trying something new and putting some sequins on the male Annas to honor that bright red on their heads! I am anxious to see how they turn out!
