The First Walk in December

There's still bits of color...

...like this cherry tree.

Though mosses and lichens are beginning to rule.

Rose hips provide further color.

A close up.

Dorothy's Creek-bed is dry, the creek has yet to flow.

The work of a Pileated Woodpecker perhaps.

Catkins dangling on the Hazel brush.

Our driveway has water flowing down.

The last leaves against a gray sky.

Maple leaves.

One last pop of color.

Beautiful snapshots from your walk, Beth! If you were here, you would be seeing snowflakes fall.

What a delightful winter walk. We still have about the same about of leaves but it has turned very cold.
