Some of my best birding is with the smaller birds.
I was really pleased to see a White-throated Sparrow in the front.
I'll keep watch to see if he is a 'regular'.
My suet cylinder called in a Fox Sparrow.
I counted five Monday morning.
It's hard to top a Black-capped Chickadee.
They pose as well as professional models.

Love your bird pictures! I try to take pics of the birds that visit my garden too, although we have a chipmunk (well two actually!) who steal all the bird food.

That's a really cute stitch, Beth! If I have not said it before, let me say it now - your photos are amazing. I'm consistently blown away by your ability to capture such beautiful, crisp images, especially of the hummers. Gorgeous fall colors in your neck of the woods!
