All About Bears - September's Trail Camera Photos - Dorothy's Creek Part Two

So many bear photos during September that they required their own post.

This series of five photos shows an adult bear...

...mouthing the rubber ball we've set out for the bears' amusement.

What to think?

Not worth the trouble!

Oh wait - A Mama strolls away, Bear Cub has found something of interest!

This six part series shows a large bear approaching from the creek.

Up the bank...

Walking forward...

Hmmm! A ball!

Sniffing...

...and sniffing some more.

The final series of four photos were taking September 16th.

A female bear checks out the ball...

...as she moves off, her cub comes over...

...and takes a drink of water.
After viewing a photo of the bears at the Oregon Zoo eating pumpkins, we've now set out two small pumpkins.  What will happen?  Stay tuned!

Love your bear photos! I bet they will enjoy the pumpkins. We have had 2 small bear sightings in our far front yard as they go from our side of the road to the other over the last 2 weeks.

They give the animals at our zoo pumpkins too. I guess all our woods are full of bears.
