I'm Still in a Slump

I'm still in a stitching slump, so back to the archives we go.

Design - "Halloween Pin Garden" (kit)
Designer - Raise the Roof
Fabric - 32 count Summer Khaki Lugana
Fibers - Au Ver a Soie
Started - 22 October 2010
Completed - 24 October 2010

This kit came with a frame, so instant finish = instant gratification!

Not only have I not been stitching, I've not been outside with my birds, so I have only two photos to share today.

I still have lots of American Goldfinches coming to the feeder.

They are about impossible to see in the Big Leaf Maples that still have their large yellow leaves.

Aww, slumps come and go. This, too, shall pass! Love the goldfinch... it’s looking at you as if it’s saying, “Peek-a-boo!”

Beth, both stitching and birds! I hope this slump passes quickly for you. We all have those moments!

I love the pop of yellow-y green in the stitching, and how you've echoed that with your bird pictures. I love goldfinches. You know I have a few that visit me in the fall when the echinacea start to look ugly. The birds give them a whole new beauty.
