First Walk in October

After all our wildfire smoke, I am still in the mood to celebrate blue skies.
October is usually a mild, sunny month in Oregon.
Let's take a walk.

Blue sky and green oak leaves.

We have a very good crop of acorns this year.

Besides the birds and squirrels, the deer are gobbling them up.

The Thimbleberry leaves are still green.

The Vine Maple leaves have turned.

White Snowberries

Blackberries

Light green Ash leaves.

See the two frogs?

Here's a close up of the one on the upper left.

More Vine Maple

Honeysuckle berries - I wonder who might eat them?

They are everywhere.

Rosehips

Apples

And back to green trees and clear blue skies.

Not a bad autumn walk.

How I love your nature walks. A far cry from the bland and dry climate that we have here
