Plodding Along

Design - "Happy Gobble Gobble Day"
Designer - The Trilogy
Fabric - 32 count Lambswool linen
Fibers - WDW & GAST - 2 strands over 2 threads
Started - 29 November 2012
Completed - 27 November 2012

Wow!  It took my over a month to complete this back in 2012.  Now I don't feel so bad about my 2016 plodding efforts.

What's up in Birdland you ask?

Lots of Golden-crowned Sparrows. I also saw a White-throated Sparrow Monday morning.

Lots of Black-capped Chickadees.  I'm still waiting to see my first Chestnut-backed Chickadee of the winter.

My faithful Anna's Hummingbirds.

Oergon Junco

Rufous Towhee

Lots and lots and lots of California Quail.

I counted over 60 birds Monday morning.

No wonder things get crowded in the backyard!

Thank goodness there are blackberry vines to perch on.

I stitched Happy Gobble Gobble Day this month... I will post soon! It looks quite different, as I just used threads I thought worked! Funny... I saw mostly the same birds, except my versions differ from yours. Hugs!

What a cute turkey design! It was worth all the time it took. I always love your quail photos, and the one with the bunny today may be my favorite - until my next new favorite, anyway!

You really have a huge variety of birds! And I've never seen that many quail together before! Wow! I love the bunny with the quail-they must be friends!

I never get tired of seeing your bunny and quail posts, Beth--that photo of them within inches of each other is so sweet :)

Love the turkey! I stitched it, but gave it away years ago--need to bring out my old chart and make one for myself!
