Here's my selection of possible November stitching projects - heavy on grateful and gratitude...and turkeys!
My birding has been heavy on woodpeckers.
No sign of a male Downy Woodpecker, but I do have a female.
She shows up at least twice a day.
The female Hairy Woodpecker is a regular too.
The male Hairy Woodpecker almost always 'announces' its presence with several loud 'peeps' as he flies in.
He continues to talk while he eats.
Here are both the female (left) and the male (right) on their favorite feeders.
The Red-breasted Sapsucker comes late in the afternoon when the light is low.
I messed with the ISO settings (light) and think the contrast is better.
Now I know what to do.
Here's my male Acorn Woodpecker.
And the female Acorn hanging out with a Starling.
Back to the male.
This young Flicker comes by most days.
I think this is a young male as it has the beginnings of a mustache.

I see lots of cute possibilities in your November stitching stash, Beth! What a great collection of small charts you must have in your library :) Great woodpecker shots!
Love your stash and the birds too ♥
Can we vote?! I want to vote!!! The chalkboard one, Meowy Tyme, and Gobble would be my picks!
I love flickers, right now we seem to have a bunch of them in BC. More than I've ever noticed before!
Lovely pictures as always, and great stash to choose from!
Super stash to choose from. Gratitude is a perfect theme for this month. Wonderful woodpecker photos!
We really DO have a lot of the same tastes/charts! There is that saying...'Great minds..." I definitely have at least one male and female downy visit my feeders each day. Still waiting for the Red-bellied to pop by them! Enjoyed the woodpeckers! Hugs!
