We are half way into November before I have a stitching finish to share. I quite like my two little owls. I often hear Great Horned Owls, but last week I heard a Barred Owl. Now if only I could see one.
Speaking of seeing... I certainly have not seen much in the way of migrating geese. I heard this group off in the eastern sky a couple of days ago.
And I watched this bird fly and land in a far off fir tree. I thought it was a red-tailed hawk, but looking at the photo I can see it is a Turkey Vulture. It is unusual to see one this time of year. The bird perched atop the tree for well over an hour trying to warm up before taking flight.
Here's a Song Sparrow.
A Fox Sparrow.
Another Fox Sparrow.
This is probably my last sighting of an American Goldfinch for the year.
A pair of Juncos.
I was pleased to see a White-throated Sparrow once again.
I think it is a rather pretty bird with the dash of yellow and the mix of colors on the wings and back.
And of course, the white throat.
Now that you've found me, bring your friends on over too!

Beautiful finish ♥
Oh my goodness! Those owls are adorable!!
Hoot is adorable. Way to go!
I never knew sparrows could be so pretty! That's a great owl design.
Such cute and wise-looking owls--great finish, Beth!
That is a really cute little finish! Worth the wait! I have yet to get out and hear an owl... the weather turned cold so suddenly! But I have seen a few birds here and there, before the cold settled in this week. Thanks for sharing! Hugs!
