I'll stick with a Critter Theme this weekend
First up, my vigilant cat, Parvati Patel!
Last time I visited the Quarry Pond, I spied one Western Pond Turtle...
...then a second Western Pond Turtle.
Note each has their own 'basking log'!
While I was there, this female Mallard flew in to have a look...
...or to have a bite!
The Quarry Pond is brimming with huge Bullfrog tadpoles.
This tree was full of Band Tailed Pigeons...until this hawk came by.
And here's one of my dare-devil, death-defying Chipmunks on a planter on the Back Patio.
This Scrub Jay would like a drink of water...
...but is wise to wait until Parvati Patel has had her fill.

I've forgotten Beth, how many cats do you have?
The tadpole looks really big - I haven't seen tadpoles since I was a young girl and we used to have a "burn" nearby which we frequented.
Wow that tadpole is HUGE! The ones we used to catch and or watch become frogs were much smaller than that!
