Next up!
"Horray for the Pumpkin Pie" is on my Stitching Goals 2011 list for the month of November - I've got it kitted up and ready to go.
We've had lots of bird action the past few days.
Our resident Avian Expert, Tom-Cat, helped with identification.
I got a really nice shot of our female Hairy Woodpecker.
I even managed a close-up.
One of the Anna's Hummingbirds was in the area too.
The Steller's Jays love our sunflowers.
It was nice to see a Scrub Jay too.
The finches are active at the feeders.
The male California Quail are such handsome fellows.
I was most pleased, however, to see my Red Breasted Sapsucker once again.
I've not watched long enough to know whether or not (s)he will be an All Winter Visitor.

I love the colors of your new start!
This is a really great variety of birds you have visiting. We don't get to see the Stellar's Jay or Scrub Jays here. And I don't think I've ever seen a Sapsucker, either!
Great bird pix again.
The Thanksgiving house and pumpkin pie look cute!
Bobbi

Birds and a cat, my favourite kind of post :-)
I can't get enough pumpkin pie. :)
What a pretty cat and I love the birds too!
Tom Cat looks just like my Furio - you can check out the resemblance on this post:

Tom Cat is gorgeous and I love your new start. Will you get it done in time for Thanksgiving, do you think?
Hugs, Kaye xoxox
Quail! Ok, all the birds are a lovely as you stitching, but I have a special spot in my heart for quail :)
I LOVE reading/viewing your wildlife pictures at the end of each stitchy post. Two of my favorite things!! Hugs!
OK! I'm ready to move to Oregon--I've never seen such lovely birds...You are so lucky to have them right in your backyard, Beth!
You can never have too many stitchy pumpkins. :)
