A Wednesday Walk

I managed a bit more work on the border of "Cluck Cluck".  Fun colors and patterns have kept the stitching interesting thus far.

On this Wednesday, I thought it time to take another walk...

Everywhere I look the Mallards are pairing up...

Doris Doe was bedded down chewing her cud...

A Violet-Gray Swallow was perched on the edge of the roof - I think he was acting as a sentry for the birdhouse located just below.

Mr. Gray Squirrel chattered at me...

As did Chip...

This deer was much more business-like, strolling by on a mission to find some sunflower seeds to eat.

And lastly, this Bleeding Heart is beyond lovely at the moment.  The older leaves are a silver-gray, while the new growth his chartreuse - then the blood-red blossoms - a show-stopper!  If I can find the tag, I'll post the name.
