This is Chip's new winter home.
One morning I caught him at work enlarging the entrance hole.
He thought about leaving...
...then decided to be coy.
Look at that adorable nose and little pink mouth.
I could hear him grinding away eating on wood.
Strong ever-growing teeth are jusst the thing.
I've decided to take the tack of live and let live.

So sweet! I agree - live and let live. Now though, you'll need to invest in supplying black sunflower seeds and peanuts. ;-) It will be interesting to watch where he stores it and if any is left inside the house or not at the end of winter. <3
